Well, I spent my morning, aside from my usual prowling around LJ, shopping for holiday gifts. I just cut my list in half! I must say, Amazon Wish Lists are wonderful. No wondering if people want what you buy them. No mucking around, trying to sort out what size or color something needs to be. Just click, click, click, and it's done. 8)

On the other hand, it's also slightly depressing. Impersonal, in some ways. Oh well, this is where we are as a society. I don't see half these people often enough to be sure what they'd want for the holidays, so now I have a list of things to choose from, just like a wedding registry... 8)

Bought some swimsuit bits for our trip - no one should be forced to see me in a swimsuit. I feel like I should wave a warning sign before I take off my cover up on vacation. Then again, there is almost always someone who looks worse in those things than I do... I know, I need to learn to love myself, but I'm having a hard time - there's a lot of me... Also went shopping last night and got new swim bits for A. She's outgrown most of the suits she had from last spring. She's started swim lessons back up again, and did really well yesterday in her first lesson in nearly 6 months.

Now, I just have to sort out gifts for people who don't have wish lists. *sigh* including my parents, who are getting harder to shop for every year...
