Well, despite doing all the things I'm supposed to do when I get sick like this, things are not improving. I feel like I've been held under water, and beaten with a stick. Time to bring in the big gun - Prednisone. For those who have not had the pleasure of being a close personal friend with this drug, well, it's a serious steroid, one I would rather avoid. However, seeing as everything else that I can take hasn't done anything this time around, it's time to get a handle on it. So, I'm starting the week long course, calling the allergist, and hoping it does the trick. At least I'm not having asthma attacks on top of it all. That seems to be fine - it's the sinus mess and coughing that's killing me. My throat is raw, and my back feels like I've slept wrong for the past month.. but, if I can get it sorted out, hopefully I'll avoid the bronchitis and possible walking pneumonia. Yep, I get that bad... all because I got some unknown something in my camping gear. I'm guessing at this point I got a higher than normal dose of mold at della Spada on the tent, and it's hit with full force this time, because of the weather conditions (it was way damp last weekend) and the fact that I'd already been overexposed to some other things the weekend before...
*sigh* I worry - we'd like to do events, and we're talking about a period tent, but how am I going to be able to go to these things if half of them make me so sick I can't function afterwards?

tired of being sick and tired
